Biomaterials/Bioprocessing, Drug Screen/Purification/Delivery, Small Molecules

How can purification and processing of biopharmaceuticals be made more efficient?

How can polymeric metal complexes, serve as scaffolds for drug delivery or development of sensors?  What is the role of nanoliposomes or nanocolloids in drug delivery?  How can biomaterials be developed to accelerate wound healing, and therapeutics to minimize scar formation?

How can small molecule microstructure be controlled for use in pharmaceuticals?  Can new imaging technologies aid in this search?

How can gene therapy be optimized and recombinant proteins manipulated?  Can drugs be targeted via leukocyte receptor-enriched liposomes?

Can sphingosine 1-phosphate agonists be used to treat type 1 diabetes and its complications, and lacritin peptides for dry eye disease?
